A funeral is a significant and personal event, often accompanied by strong emotions. Don’t be scared. Talking about sex doesn’t make you pregnant, and talking about funerals won’t make you dead. Join in this informative and fun presentation. You will have the opportunity to learn about available options as well as your legal rights.
Laurie Powsner, MSW, LCSW, an advisory board member of the non-profit Funeral Consumers Alliance of Princeton will share a different and practical approach to funeral planning. She will present a fascinating and fun look at the many options a funeral offers. Her credible approach to planning for the future will include tips on how to choose a funeral home, as well as the benefits of planning ahead.
Laurie Powsner, MSW, LCSW is a social worker in private practice. She provides individual, couple, and family counseling and consults with families about aging in place. Previously, she has worked with hospice for over 20 years.
