At Medford Leas, both residents and the greater community can discover new pathways and possibilities for a rich and fulfilling life through our Pathways to Learning© Program and ongoing community events. The Medford Leas Campus Art Gallery is open daily from 9:00 am - 8:00 pm.  We also regularly host luncheons or informative events for prospective residents and their families to learn more about life in the community.

Evolution results in function, not perfection. Humans are bipedal, walking on our legs and freeing the hands for all the things that make us human (making and using tools, carrying objects, holding infants and so much more). All of our ancestors and close relatives walk on all fours and the evolution of upright posture came about by the modification of the muscles and bones of our four-legged ancestors.

Leas Forum: “Tibetan Folk Tales”

John Brzostoski, a Medford Leas resident and professor of Asian art, will retell beloved stories from this far-away world. His experiences include four trips to Tibet, where he collected stories from monks and nomads alike. John has previously told these ancient folk tales at Asia Society, Tibet House and The American Museum of Natural History, and on radio station WBAI. These stories will enthrall the audience.
