On May 26 there was a cruise on the Maurice River, organized by the Residents Association Short Trips Committee , Continue to see five large photos by Walt Lyons. Walt reports that they saw a dozen bald eagles and many ospreys. 
Twenty four Medford Leas residents traveled the short distance down route 70 to Brown’s Mills, New Jersey where Joe and Brenda Darlington’s Pine Barrens Native Fruits Farm is located.
Covering several thousand acres we witnessed the cranberry harvest after hearing Brenda talk about the industry, and its history much of which was started by Josiah White, whose daughter Elizabeth created the campus where the pickers lived. 
On Friday, June 19th, eighteen people, led by Judy Aley, left Medford Leas at 10:00 a.m. sharp on the bus for the Maurice River Cruise in Millville, New Jersey.

Nine eager residents boarded the Medford Leas bus for a trip to Smithville Mansion on December 9. Artful maneuvering by driver Jack dropped us off at the door and we entered the dining room all decked out for Christmas with enticing smells wafting from the kitchen next door.
