TRANSPORTER

TASK

Transporting residents to and from the fitness center and apartments.

SCHEDULE

Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday 9:30-11:30/ Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday 1:30-2:30 (commitment to at least 1x a week for at least 1 month) Volunteer will interact directly with residents, staff, and other volunteers. Volunteer will receive a list of residents to assist in transportation to the fitness center for their appointment time and assist residents safely back. Must be able to move about freely to respond to situations that require lifting, carrying, bending, stooping, walking, sitting, and pushing wheelchairs. Must be able to stand for long periods of time. Volunteers must be able to self-direct after orientation and be able to retrieve the supplies needed to carry out this task.
